Walnut strip is used as a border for solid wooden floors, and is available in 19mm x 19mm, and 38mm.

Wood being a natural product it is succeptable to exapnsion and contraction as a result of heat and moisture changes in buildings.

When laying most wooden floors it is recommended to leave an exapnsion around the perimiter of the floor. These gaps can be filled by our Cork Expansion strips which reduce dirt build up, alow the floor to breathe, and are usually masked by skirting boards.
